Lovingly restored in 2020 and still proudly family-run, our team puts hospitality at the heart of everything we do. From local ales and freshly prepared dishes to comfortable accommodation and cosy corners, The Boyne Arms is a place to unwind and feel at home.
With a mix of pub rooms and self-catering cottages at The Old School House, we can host up to 24 guests – perfect for family get-togethers, walking weekends or countryside escapes.
Our walled garden is a favourite spot too, complete with heated outdoor pods for year-round dining under the stars. Private, snug and with a touch of Shropshire fresh air – they’re a little slice of countryside comfort.

Tim, Michelle and Nicola welcome you to this historic, fabulous gastro pub with rooms situated in the hamlet of Burwarton and nestling in the Shropshire Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We have direct access onto the Brown Clee Hill and dozens of meandering lanes making us a magnet for walkers.

Our imaginative menus are sourced mainly from local Shropshire produce, including from the Burwarton Estate itself – everything from local cheeses, local sausages from the butchers nearby and milk. Our bar serves real ales and wonderful wine. So come and visit us.
